Woman of the Year - Women's History Month March has been designated as Women's History Month and each year the California State Legislature encourages Legislators to highlight and honor deserving women for service to their community.

This year, to give more deserving women an opportunity to be recognized, I will be recognizing Women of Distinction from across Assembly District 40 for their service, and I will honor among them one recipient as Assembly District 40 "Woman of the Year."
